Who we are

Venturo Auto Ltd (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Our address is The Loft, Grenville Pl, London NW7 3AZ. You can contact us using the details on our Contact page.

What we collect

We collect the information you give us when you submit an enquiry, request a valuation or reserve a vehicle: your name, email address, telephone number, vehicle registration and mileage where provided, and the content of your message. We also collect limited technical data such as device and browser information through essential website functions.

Why we use it (lawful basis)

We use your data to respond to your enquiry and take steps at your request prior to entering a contract, to arrange viewings and sales, to keep records required by law, and where you have consented, to contact you about vehicles that may interest you. Our lawful bases are contract, legitimate interests and consent.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only where necessary with service providers who host this website and our enquiry records, with vehicle history and finance-settlement providers where relevant to a transaction, and with authorities where we are legally required to do so.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months. Records relating to a completed sale are kept for six years to meet legal, accounting and consumer-rights obligations.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to our processing of your data, and the right to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To exercise a right, contact us and we will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access-controlled storage. No transmission over the internet is entirely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
